Practice Areas:

After years of working in the private sector, Philip Krone followed his passion for law and civil rights and attended law school at Widener University Commonwealth Law School. While there, he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. He went on to intern for the Honorable Daniel R. Dominguez, Senior Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.

 

Philip has been an integral member of Cook Craig and Francuzenko since he began his clerkship here. He now concentrates his practice in employment law, civil litigation, and civil rights litigation. While Philip Krone’s practice covers the general span of civil litigation issues, he most often litigates business disputes, contract disputes, wage cases, and personal injury cases in the Circuit and General District Courts of Northern Virginia as well as the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. 

 

In addition to practicing in state court, Philip Krone frequently handles employment, civil rights, and constitutional matters in federal court, briefing and arguing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He serves his clients consistently with his characteristic compassion and skill in litigation.
