Andrew J. Tureaud was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. After graduating from Chantilly High School, he left Northern Virginia and attended the University of South Carolina on an academic scholarship and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.

Following his undergraduate degree, Mr. Tureaud chose to remain in Columbia and attended the South Carolina School of Law where he graduated cum laude in the top 15% of his class. While at USC, Mr. Tureaud discovered his passion for the courtroom. He interned in the Columbia District Attorney’s office and for the South Carolina Attorney General’s office.

After graduating from USC in 2016, Mr. Tureaud returned to his roots in Fairfax and took an associate position at a well-reputed Fairfax law firm specializing in community associations, where he represented associations in litigation both as plaintiff and defendant. Having begun his career learning both sides of litigation cases, Mr. Tureaud brings a different perspective when litigating a case.

Mr. Tureaud joined Cook, Craig, & Francuzenko, returning to his dedication of representing law enforcement. Since joining the firm, Mr. Tureaud has defended constitutional officers and regional jails in state and federal courts throughout Virginia.

In addition to his representation of constitutional officers, Andrew also has a diversified litigation practice representing auto-accidents victims, personal injury and wrongful death victims, institutional clients involved in commercial disputes, and individuals and companies concerning employment related matters including breach of contract, non-compete agreements, and sexual harassment.

Andrew is an active member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars and is involved in the Fairfax Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division.
