Christopher T. Craig is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the Bar of the Virginia Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Third and Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Mr. Craig earned a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton, his Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Nelson A. Rockefeller School of Public Policy, State University of New York at Albany, and his law degree from the George Mason University School of Law (GMUSL). Mr. Craig is currently a partner in the Law Firm of Cook Craig & Francuzenko, PLLC. Previously he was a partner in the firm, Sparks & Craig, LLP after serving 10 years as an associate attorney in the predecessor law firm of Herge, Sparks & Christopher from 1995-2004. Prior to 1995, he served as a legislative analyst for the government affairs firms of Albers & Co., Inc. and the Center for State Policy Research. He has served as General Counsel to Fairfax County, Virginia, Republican Committee from 2001 to 2012.

Mr. Craig is currently serving as Braddock District Commissioner to the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Over the past few years he has served as the Braddock Representative to the 2010-2011 Fairfax County Reapportionment Committee, and Chairman of the Braddock Magisterial District Citizens Budget Advisory Committee. He previously served as Legislative Sub-Group Chairman of the Braddock Magisterial District Transportation and Land Use Committee. He represented DFCA in the Braddock District Council of Homeowners Associations and, with then-Braddock District Supervisor Sharon Bulova, he created the Danbury Forest Community Enhancement Project, a public-private partnership of government, contractors, builders, architects, lenders and local residents.

Chris is currently President of Canterbury Woods Swim and Tennis Club, and an officer with Holy Spirit Men’s Club. He was a 10-year member of the Danbury Forest Community Association (1996-2006), three times serving as president. In Danbury Forest, Chris spearheaded several local traffic-calming and parking projects, as well as a joint DFCA/Fairfax Park Authority projects.
